Effect of Herbal Preparations on Milk Production Among Dairy Buffaloes

Location:

Margasini, Phanse and Wajeghar villages of Pune district, Maharashtra.

Context:

Many diary farmers in India still sell milk to the unorganized sector. Lacking any expertise or skills in quality management they often produce and supply milk of questionable quality and consequently get low prices.
Farmers requested ANTHRA for training on clean milk production, record-keeping, training on simple tests to analyse milk, validating the efficacy of simple herbal preparations that enhance milk production.
