Davison Thingbaijam and Shambhu Kumar two students of the Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu interned with ANTHRA Pune, from April to June 2007 to undertake two research studies on local markets.

University of Reading, United Kingdom

Ms Marieka Klaasen, Masters Student from the University of Reading, UK, spent 3 weeks with Anthra , to do her field research work for her dissertation in MSc Applied Development Studies. Her research was located in Medak district, Andhra Pradesh where she studied the impact of diseases on the marketing Strategies of shepherds rearing sheep and goat.

Mr David Carr, a prospective Phd Student from University of Reading, UK spent 3 weeks with Anthra to understand the status of animal genetic resources and the farmer's views on the future of their cattle in select parts of Medak district, Andhra Pradesh.

Rural Immersion Programme for Students of IIM Ahmedabad, India

The Rural Immersion Programme (RIP) is a compulsory programme for students in the Ist year of the Agri Business Managament (PGP-ABM) course at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. The RIP is in 2 phases of 10 days each. 10 students of the PGP programme spent 10 days with ANTHRA for their RIP programme in April for the 1st phase.
