On 13th Of October at the Malkha shop in Hyderabad, an exhibition of Gongadi's,the blankets made by local shepherds, from the wool of the Deccani sheep, will open .
This collection has been brought together through the combined efforts of Elana Dickson, an internationally known textile designer , the Anthra team and the shepherds of Medak district
A gongadi loom will be featured, and the makers of these Gongadi's will also be there to tell their stories and sing their songs , celebrating their craft and their culture
The show will run from Thursday October 13 to Saturday October 15, 10.30 am to 7 pm at the Malkha shop , Humayan Nagar opp NMDC Hyderabad , India
