Reduction Of Antibiotic Use In Dairy Farming

Location: Pune and Kolhapur districts

Collaboration: Katraj Dairy and Gokul Dairy Maharashtra and the Emotive Indo Dutch exchange programme

Anthra is working closely with Katraj and Gokul Dairy cooperatives in the state of Maharashtra as well as several smaller dairies to develop a programme to reduce the use of antibiotics in dairy farming. Anthra is also collaborating with the Dutch Farm experience’s exchange programme wherein Dutch and Indian veterinarians learn from each other.
