    This two day workshop jointly organised by BNHS, NTPC and the Forest Department of Maharashtra state brought together scientists, researchers, students and NGO’s to present their views on the Conservation of wildlife in the Deccan Plateau. Anthra has a presentation entitled ; Neither Barren nor forsaken the rich diversity of grassland landscapes which was presented by Apporva. The paper was amongst the few presentations which looked at pastoral livelihoods and their close relationship to grassland landscapes and the wildlife therein
