  • Launch of Climate Change Cell

    A function to launch the Climate cell change was organized in Hyderabad at the National institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises(NIMSME) Campus. Dr. S.N Mishra, former Director Institute of Economic Growth, New Delhi gave the keynote address entitled Livestock Environment and climate change and Prof. Sanjeev Ghotge, Senior Fellow WISE, Pune gave the inaugural address on Global warming and Climate Change. Both presentations drew attention to the impending crisis and the challenges which would be imposed by global warming especially on rural farming communities as well as the kind of research and action which would be needed in the future to mitigate or adapt to this change.
