  • Strategizing Pastoralist Policy Dialogue and Advocacy

    Mahendra Khatal and Malhari Hakke, pastoralists from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra along with Nitya Ghotge participated in a 4 day workshop organised jointly by WISP, the IUCN and MARAG. Deliberations included the present situation of pastoralists in India, the need for spaces for policy dialogue where pastoralists can take active part as well as discussions around how pastoralists could effectively participate in key international events such as the CBD.
