  • “Women in Livestock Care” award function

    Women Pastoralists were felicitated at a small function organised by Anthra in Pune. Shahubai Lambhore, Nandabai Kolpe and Jyoti Nikam received the award this year. Anthra has been recognising and felicitating women pastoralists and livestock keepers since 2021. The women are recognised for their special skills in taking care of animals and are selected by a selection committee. This year the awards were given by Vineet Bal a Board Member of Anthra and Sushma Iyengar curator Living Lightly https://livinglightly.in
