  • Workshop on “Maternal and Child health in mobile pastoral communities: Invisible and Unaccounted for”

    Through this workshop, we wish to present the results of a small scoping study we recently conducted in Maharashtra with women of the Dhangar shepherding community who are mobile and migrate for at least 6 months of the year. Additionally, we would also like to share a concept note and literature review we have done related to the topic. One of the objectives of the workshop is to collectively look for ways in which the problem of health for mobile communities is understood and analyzed. We would also like to collectively look for approaches to address the problem.
