- ANTHRA Participates in IASC 2011
- The Conference of the Commons which began on 10th January in Hyderabad had a number of events in which ANTHRA participated. On the 10th a preconference workshop entitled Mapping On the Ground – First Step in Revitalising the Commons was coordinated by ANTHRA which was very well attended.On the 11th Anthra co hosted a panel entitled Criminal Weed and Vermin.This session explored at one level the social exclusion of different communities in India from the commons as well as looked at steps some groups had taken to forge a way ahead. On the 13th field trips were organized to field areas of Anthra in districts Warangal and Medak of Andhra Pradesh. Over 60 people had signed up for the visits.
