- Exhibition of Gongadi wool craft
- On 13th Of October at the Malkha shop in Hyderabad, an exhibition of Gongadi’s,the blankets made by local shepherds, from the wool of the Deccani sheep, will open. This collection has been brought together through the combined efforts of Elana Dickson, an internationally known textile designer, the Anthra team and the shepherds of Medak district A gongadi loom will be featured, and the makers of these Gongadi’s will also be there to tell their stories and sing their songs, celebrating their craft and their culture The show will run from Thursday October 13 to Saturday October 15, 10.30 am to 7 pm at the Malkha shop, Humayan Nagar opp NMDC Hyderabad, India.
