    • For some years now, we have been encouraging students to intern with us to learn more about ecological agriculture, livestock care etc. This year, two young boys from Madhya Pradesh are spending 15 days in Ratnagiri learning more about backyard poultry and ecological agriculture. Abhishek who is from the Barela tribe and Shikariya from the Bhilala tribe are students of the Adarshila learning center located in district Badwani of Madhya Pradesh. Shikariya is originally from village Jalsindhi which was submerged by the Sardar Sarovar dam. Both boys are keen to learn more about improved poultry care as a livelihood activity and will simultaneously try and clear their 10th Board exams through the open school system. Rajan Kulye and Smita Kulye in Ratnagiri will be their chief mentors.
